Mounting Plank Ceiling Systems
Ceiling systems can be mounted either directly to existing ceilings such as standard plaster / plasterboard ceilings if the existing ceiling height is what is required.
If the ceiling height needs to be lowered then the new ceiling can be suspended from the existing substrate on a Metal Framed (MF) grid systems
If the existing ceiling is a concrete slab then the new ceiling will need to be installed using a MF grid system
Mounting Tile Ceiling Systems
Tile Ceiling systems cannot be mounted either directly to existing ceilings but suspended from the existing substrate on a Metal Framed (MF) grid systems
The suspended grid system is required to be lowered from the existing ceiling so the tiles can installed.
